(AP) — LSU coach Ed Orgeron says he has hired New Orleans Saints assistant Joe Brady as the Tigers‘ passing game coordinator and receivers coach.Brady fills the vacancy created when veteran receivers coach Jerry Sullivan retired after the 2018 season.Orgeron says Brady brings LSU an innovative approach to offense and knowledge of the run-pass option after working under Saints coach Sean Payton.New Orleans has annually fielded one the NFL’s leading offense since Payton and quarterback Drew Brees joined the Saints in 2006. New Orleans also ran a number of option plays this season with versatile third-string QB Taysom Hill.Orgeron says LSU assistant Mickey Joseph will continue to work with receivers alongside Brady.Brady played receiver for William & Mary from 2009 to 2012 and began his coaching career there. He’s also been a graduate assistant at Penn State. It’s nice to bounce back into the win column.The Saints were able to get redemption from their Week 1 upset loss against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Still, it was a roller coaster of a game, especially in the first half, with plenty of “Ups” and “Downs” along the way. Cameron Jordan was a one-man wrecking crew, and the entire Saints defensive line had an incredible showing against the Bucs offensive line.Eli Apple had a solid showing himself opposite Marshon Lattimore in the Saints secondary Marshon Lattimore Jersey White , and the latter was able to record a garbage-time interception to seal the game. All in all, the Saints were able to lock down in the second half and keep the Bucs off the scoreboard. He put the team on his back at one point Womens Marshon Lattimore Jersey , but also put Brent Grimes on his back to score a touchdown dagger to put the Saints up 11 late.
