Untitled Document Chili Hot Chocolate [*]6 dL (2 cups) milk [*]1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise [*]1 red chili pepper, split with seeds removed (or 2/3 teaspoon ground pepper) [*]1 cinnamon stick [*]70 g (1 1/2 oz) chocolate [/list:u]

Simmer milk in a saucepan, add vanilla, cinnamon and chili and heat through for about a minute. Add grated chocolate and simmer until melted. After 10-15 minutes, strain out the spices and serve.
