The 2020 edition of the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, is scheduled for March 13–16, 2020. The event takes place on the Course of the Players Stadium— one of two courses situated at the site. The Players Championships are among the PGA Tour's most important tournaments. Including Majors, it's undoubtedly the tournament that gets the most attention. The interest in the event is generated by both the large golfing field as well as the location, with the event hosted at TPC at Sawgrass Stadium Course, one of the world's best golf courses.

The Players hope to be more than just another stop on the PGA Tour. More than "the fifth major," this event wrestled with a designation that lasted years. The Players want to be another Kentucky Derby, a bucket list destination that appeals to fans outside sports where the band, fashion and people-watching are exchanging attention to what's going on inside the ropes. Players will face championship tees that stretch to 7,245 yards in the Stadium Course. One of the best fields of the year is going to compete on one of the biggest purses of the year.
