After having a good go with it over the weekend I can safely say that the Northern Lords DLC for Crusader Kings 3 is entirely what I had hoped it would be. That is to say an utterly reasonable sell at just over £5 which does little to reinvent the game.We’ve all been waiting patiently for news about the first Crusader Kings III DLC and we got that news this past weekend with the announcement of the Northern Lords ‘flavour pack’ which released earlier today.It's not a great look for CK3. However Paradox tells us that while this change was consciously made it doesn't have anything to do with barring same-sex content from the game.

Northern Lords is a Norse-themed DLC that adds new events and mechanics to dynasties in Northern Europe.Crusader Kings 3 might let your dukes and queens engage in homosexual relationships but marriage is reserved only for the straights. Fans have been able to queer up medieval Europe with mods thankfully Crusader Kings 3 Account
but a recent update broke the loophole used to make more meaningful homosexual relationships in CK3 possible.
It’s been over six months since medieval grand strategy game Crusader Kings 3 murdered its way into our hearts and everyone’s been eagerly awaiting news as to what’s coming next. We’ve known today’s Paradox Insider event was going to bring news regarding the historical strategy game’s initial stab at expansion content and the first Crusader Kings 3 DLC has been revealed as Northern Lords.While this isn't a full-blown expansion to Crusader Kings 3 Northern Lords will still give players "dozens of new stories" and chances to "raid foreign shores brave harsh winters or establish a new Viking realm."
